Patrick Smith, President

I am the president of R.N. Smith Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. I have worked for the company for 39 years. I hold a state of Ohio Licence in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Boilers. I am the son of Raymond N. Smith and the grandson of William H. Smith.

I am the third generation involved in the business and a graduate of Bishop Fenwick Catholic High School. I have attended numerous educational trainings and have obtained certifications in the HVAC field. I am a member of ACCA and the Knights of Columbus. I have been married to Mary Jo for thirty years.

We are the proud parents of Kristina Marie, and Brian Patrick.

Kristina Smith, Sales Coordinator

I am the daughter of Patrick and Mary Jo Smith. I graduated from William V. Fisher Catholic High School in 1998, following graduation I went onto attend Ohio University where I graduated in 2003 with an associates degree in Applied Business.

After graduating from Ohio University I started working for R.N. Smith Sheet Metal Shop. I have been with R. N. Smith for 10 years now and I'm currently the Secratary of R.N. Smith. I love working at R.N. Smith, I spend most of my day answering the phone and taking care of sales calls and anything else that needs done around the office.

I am looking forward to owning the business with my little brother Brian Smith in the years to come.

Jim Sheets, Sales Represantative

I have been working for 24 years with R.N. Smith. I first started with installing for 9 years. I then moved to service work for 1 year. I now am running different installation crews and do estimates. I also do all of our Public Relations works.

Vicky Rhoads, Dispatcher

I started working at R.N. Smith September 3 , 1993. I am the dispatcher for the service department. My duties are dispatching service calls, filing all of the calls, and keeping records. I enjoy talking and helping out our customers, they are all very important to me.

I love working at R.N. Smith. It's nice to work for a family business that cares about their employees.

Doug Franke, Installation Manager

Dusty Franke, Service Manager

I started at R.N. Smith in 1991. Initially, I worked on new construstion jobs and helped other journeymen and plumbers. I later became a journeyman on retrofit jobs. in 1996 i started in the service department, repairing residential and commercial equipment.

I am currently supervising the service department. I have been happily married for 11 years with three healthy sons. I am universaly certified in EPA, RSES Certified, and NATE certified. I went to many factory courses including Fujitsu, Merasys, Varitrac (TRANE), Rheem, and Goodman. I graduated for fisher catholic in 1989. I went to Ohio University for three years and majored in industrial tech, with a minor in business.

Rob Garrabrant

I have been working for R.N. Smith for 13 years. I specialize in hot water tanks, heat pumps, and air conditioners, gas and electric furnaces. I am EPA Certified and drive truck # 21

I have been a local resident of lancaster for 39 years.

Bob (Robert) Seymour

I have worked as a service technician for R.N. Smith for 15 years. I have taken NATE Certification test and RSES Certification and have certification for residential and light commercial.

I believe in treating our customers as i would want to be treated. I treat them with respect and honesty., giving them good service for a fair price. I drive van # 17.

Jeff Pregent

I graduated from fairfield career center in sept of 2001for HVAC training and have worked at R.N. Smith for 7 years. I was an installer 1 year , 6 as a technician. I am EPA "Universal" certified and enjoy working for a family owned business.

I want to continue my HVAC education to become NATE Certifed throough work and hands on training session.

Harry Hollett

I have been with R.N. Smith for 15 years, but have been in profession for 21 years. I specialize in fuel oil, hot water tanks, heat pumps, air conditioners, gas and electric furnaces, and co-rag-ovac systems.

I have a 4 years sheeet metal certification degree. I have lived in Lancaster all my life except my four years in the Marine Corps. I drive truck number 22.

Brian Smith

I am the son of Patrick and Mary Jo Smith. Also, I have one sister (Kristina Smith)

In the years to come my sister and I will be the fourth generation of R.N. Smith to run the family business. It has always been our hopes and dreams to run the family business like our father does today. Our father will be a hard one to replace but we will be honored to run a great business for our grandfather and father.

I graduated from William V. Fisher Catholic High School in 2006. After graduation I attended Ferris State University to get a better understanding on the HVACR ( Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration) industry. I attended Ferris State for two years and graduated in the summer of 2008 with an associates degree in HVACR.

I have enjoyed working at R.N. Smith for the past 7 years. My duties along the way have been from stock boy to installer. Currently, I am a service technician, computer support person and Treasurer of R.N. Smith. One of the advantages of working here is the experience I have meeting new people, fixing their problems and making them happy at the end of the call. Everyday is different and never boring around R.N. Smith.
